President Bola Tinubu has approved seventy thousand naira, as the new minimum wage, for workers in the country.
President Tinubu announced the minimum wage during a meeting, with leaders of the Nigeria Labour Congress NLC, and Trade Union Congress TUC, at the presidential villa today.
The Presidential aide,Bayo Onanuga, disclosed this in a statement.
Recall that, the Federal Government had earlier proposed Sixty Two Thousand Naira as the National Minimum Wage, while the labour was stuck on Two Hundred and Fifty Thousand, Naira.
