VIDEO: ANAMBRA GOVERNMENT ARRAIGNS EIGHT CLERGYMEN OVER ALLEGED STAGED MIRACLES


The Anambra State Government has arraigned eight clergymen over allegations of conducting staged miracles and exploiting members of the public through deceptive religious practices.

According to the authorities, the defendants are accused of allegedly paying individuals to participate in arranged miracle performances during church services. Prosecutors claim that these activities were designed to create the impression of supernatural healings and testimonies in order to attract followers and financial support.

The individuals named in the charges are:

  1. Ndubisi Nnachukwu – Omega Dominion Ministry
  2. Ekeleme Chris Ugochukwu – Cloud of Glory Prophetic Ministry
  3. Bishop Emeka Nwamkpa – Chapel of Faith Ministry
  4. Peter Chukwu – Messiah Adoration Ministry
  5. Chinedu Egwuonwu – Citadel of Grace Ministry
  6. Ebele Nachukwu – Jehovah, Mighty Than All Ministry
  7. Miracle Iruoma – City of Power Ministry
  8. Chukwukadibia Ogwuama – Land of Testimony Adoration Ministry

Authorities stated that the case includes video evidence and recorded statements which they intend to present in court as part of the prosecution’s case.

The defendants have been formally charged, and the matter is now before the court for determination. As with all criminal proceedings, the accused persons are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty by a competent court of law.

The case has attracted significant public attention, with many observers closely following developments as the legal process unfolds.
